50 minute initial meeting: $200
50 minute therapy session: $200
80 minute therapy session: $300
NOTE FOR SE STUDENTS: Personal SE student sessions and SE case consultations are provided at a rate determined by your SE training location. Please contact me for rate information if you are an SE student seeking sessions to work towards your SEP certificate. I am approved to provide SE student/personal sessions at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
PAYMENT
Payment is accepted at the end of each session with cash, debit, e-transfer, Visa, or Mastercard. Active clients can enter a credit card in their client portal through STRIPE payments for seamless session payment. Clients will be given a receipt that they can later submit if they have health insurance coverage.
INSURANCE COVERAGE
I provide direct billing for Alberta Blue Cross, Medavie Blue Cross, and Green Shield health insurance plans. In addition, I am able to direct bill to the Non Insured Health Benefits plan for individuals with Treaty Status (NIHB), the Physician and Family Support Program, and the Edmonton Police Services Employee and Family Assistance Program. All plans have different coverage policies so it is up to you to check with your provider to ensure that Clinical Social Work services are covered by your plan.
If you have a health insurance policy or a benefit plan through a different provider, you are expected to pay the full amount for your sessions and send in your receipts for reimbursement through your provider. Your health insurance policy or benefit plan may cover all or part of the therapy fees. It is your responsibility to review your insurance plan to see if Social Work services (MSW) are covered by your provider. Prior to beginning therapy I recommend that you speak to your insurance representative and find out how much you are expected to pay and if there are limits to the number of sessions your insurance will provide.
